Our 2013 Buena Aventura release of Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is a true blend of the terroir. Opening on the front with stewed black cherry wrapped in dried sage. Mulling spices and cedar box line the outer ends of the savory raspberry filled palate. With a full body this wine lends itself to be camouflaged as a wine from a slightly warmer climate. Bright acidity and subtle vanilla, brought by its barrel aging, combine with white pepper to help carry a long finish. This wine will age well with time, but loves to be opened now!
